This is the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) that governs how Discount Labels and our affiliated companies, including Grace Imaging and Maverick Labels (“Discount Labels“, “we“, “our” or “us“), use Personal Data (defined below) that we collect, receive and store about individuals in connection with the use of our website:, and any other website, application, or other platform, from which this Privacy Policy is linked (each, together with its sub-domains, content and services, a “Site“).  For purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), this Privacy Policy also addresses our collection of Personal Information outside of the Site in Section 7 (California Residents).

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by Discount Labels. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of third-party websites, services and advertisements, and you visit them at your own risk.

1. Introduction. 

We recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Data that is shared with us as part of using our Site. As used in this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means any information that may be used, either alone or in combination with other information, to identify an individual.

2. Information Collected. 

We may receive and/or collect Personal Data in the following ways:

2.1. Personal Data You Provide To Us On Our Site. If you send us a “Contact Us” request or feedback, or if you seek information about our Products, services, and prices, or in connection with purchasing a Product or service, you may be required to provide us with certain information that may constitute Personal Data, such as:

  • Your name;
  • Email address;
  • Address;
  • Company name;
  • Phone; and
  • Personal Data contained in communications you send to us.
We may collect your Personal Data via  email, by phone, by text, by instant message, live chat,  social media platforms, and through third party advertisers.
When purchasing services on our Site, we (or our third party service providers acting on our behalf) may require you to provide financial qualification and billing information, such as billing name and address and credit card number.
You can easily change any of your Personal Data processed by us in “My Account”. In some circumstances, you may also have the right to permanently remove your Personal Data from our systems. You can do this by visiting “My Account”.

2.2. Personal Data Collected Automatically. Certain Personal Data on our Site is collected automatically by means of various software tools. We use such information to assist in log-in, systems administration purposes, information security and abuse prevention, to track user trends, and to analyze the effectiveness of our Site. Examples of these types of Personal Data include:

a) Log Files On Our Site. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (“IP”) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, clicked pages and any other information your browser may send to us.

b) Cookies.  We use cookies to make interactions with our Site easy and meaningful. When you visit our Site, our servers may send a cookie to your computer.
We may use cookies that are session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer. 3. The Purposes For Which We Use Personal Data. 
Your Personal Data may be used in the following ways: (i) to provide, analyze, administer, and improve our Site and services, (ii) to contact you in connection with our Site and certain services, notifications, events, programs or offerings that you may have registered for, (iii) to send you updates and promotional materials that you have registered for, (iv) to identify and authenticate your access to the parts of our Site and services that you are authorized to access; (v) for order placement, quoting, customer service, invoicing, shipping and returns (vi) for recruiting and human resources administration purposes, and (vi) to protect our rights and/or our property and to ensure the technical functionality and security of our Site.

4. How We Disclose Personal Data. 
We do not sell, lease, rent or otherwise disclose the Personal Data collected from our Site to third parties unless otherwise stated below or with your consent.

4.1. Our Third Party Providers. We transfer Personal Data to our third party service providers to perform tasks on our behalf and to assist us in providing our Site. For example, we engage service providers who help us recruit talented candidates (ADP), identify and verify company information (Coface), and who provide mapping features (Google Maps).

4.2 Business Partners. From time to time, we may partner with other companies to jointly offer Products or services. If you purchase a jointly-offered Product or service from us, or otherwise direct us to do so, we may share Personal Data collected in connection with your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). We do not control our business partners’ use of Personal Data, and their use of your Personal Data will be in accordance with their own privacy policies.

4.3. In the Event of Merger, Sale, or Change of Control. We may transfer or assign this Privacy Policy and any Personal Data to a third-party entity that acquires or is merged with us or acquires our assets.

4.4. Other Disclosures. We may disclose your Personal Data if we reasonably believe that such disclosure is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our terms of use, including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Discount Labels, our users, or the public.

5. Retention of Personal Data.
We have the right to retain your Personal Data as long as it is needed to: (i) fulfill the purposes for which it has been collected, and (ii) comply with applicable law.

6. Your Rights.

6.1 General. Provided that we have allowed for account features on the Site you are visiting, and you have established an account on such Site, we provide access to—and the ability to edit or delete—certain categories of Personal Data through the account.

Depending on where you live, you may have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or other regulatory agency if you believe that we have violated any of the rights concerning your Personal Data.  We encourage you to first reach out to us at [email protected] so that we have an opportunity to address your concerns directly before you file a complaint.
6.2. Opting-Out of Promotional Emails. You may choose not to receive future promotional or advertising emails from us by selecting an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email that you receive from us, or by responding to the emails directly and requesting removal if such a link is not available. Additionally, you may send a request specifying your communications preferences to [email protected]. Customers cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to their account with us or our services. Please note that even if you opt out of receiving the foregoing emails, we may still send you a response to any “Contact Us” request as well as administrative, maintenance and operational emails (for example, in connection with a password reset request).

7.  California Residents.
The state of California provides its residents with certain rights concerning their Personal Data (under California law, referred to as “Personal Information.”)  This section describes how you may exercise your rights for Personal Data that we collect under this Privacy Policy.
When we use the term “Personal Information” in the context of the CCPA, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular California consumer or household. 

A.  Categories of Personal Information Subject to California Privacy Rights
Throughout this Privacy Policy, we discuss in detail the specific “Types of Personal Data We Collect”. Under CCPA, we are also required to provide you with the “categories” of Personal Information we collected and disclosed within the past (12) months:
  • Identifiers – Such as a real name, Internet Protocol address, email address, and online identifiers;
  • Personal Information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) – For example, a  name, signature, Social Security number, physical characteristics or description, address, telephone number, passport number, driver’s license or state identification card number, insurance policy number, education, employment, employment history, bank account number, credit card number, debit card number, or any other financial information, medical information, or health insurance information. Some Personal Information included in this category may overlap with other categories.
  • Internet or other similar network activity – Browsing history, search history, information on a consumer’s interaction with a website, application, or advertisement.
  • Inferences drawn from other personal information– such as other information that identifies or can reasonably associated with you.
  • Geolocation data – Such as physical location or movements.
  • Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law –  Such as age (40 years or older), race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, religion or creed, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, sex (including gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy or childbirth and related medical conditions), sexual orientation, veteran or military status, genetic information (including familial genetic information).
  • Professional or employment-related information – Current or past job history or performance evaluations.   

Discount Labels has not sold Personal Information about consumers within the 12 preceding months.

B.  Your California Privacy Rights
In accordance with California law and subject to certain exceptions, California consumers may exercise the following rights with respect to their Personal Information:

Right to know/Access You have the right to request information on the categories of Personal Information that we collected in the previous twelve (12) months, the categories of sources from which the Personal Information was collected, the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, and the business purposes for which such Personal Information is collected and shared. You also have the right to request information on the categories of Personal Information which were disclosed for business purposes, and the categories of third parties in the twelve (12) months preceding your request for your Personal Information.
Right to Non-Discrimination You have the right to not receive discriminatory treatment by us if you exercise any of the rights conferred to you by the CCPA.
Data Portability You have the right to receive a copy of the Personal Information you have previously provided to us.
Right to Delete You have a right to request us to delete Personal Information that we collected from you. However, please be aware that we may not fulfill your request for deletion if we (or our service provider(s)) are required to retain your Personal Information for one or more of the following categories of purposes: (1) to complete a transaction for which the Personal Information was collected, provide a good or service requested by you, or complete a contract between us and you; (2) to ensure our website integrity, security, and functionality; (3) to comply with applicable law or a legal obligation, or exercise rights under the law; (4) to otherwise use your Personal Information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.

While we take measures to ensure that those responsible for receiving and responding to your request are informed of your rights and how to help you exercise those rights, when contacting us to exercise your rights, we ask you to please adhere to the following guidelines:
  • Tell Us Which Right You Are Exercising: Specify which right you want to exercise and the Personal Information to which your request relates (if not to you). If you are acting on behalf of another consumer, please clearly indicate this fact and your authority to act on such consumer’s behalf;
  • Help Us Verify Your Identity: Provide us with information to verify your identify. For example, provide us (at a minimum) your phone number or email address.  If your phone number or email address appears in our records, we may contact you to help confirm that you are making the request.  Please note that if we cannot initially verify your identity, we may request additional information to complete the verification process. Any Personal Information you disclose to us for purposes of verifying your identity will solely be used for the purpose of verification. 
  • Direct Our Response Delivery: Please provide us with an e-mail or mailing address through which we can provide our response.  If make the request by email, unless otherwise requested, we will assume that we can respond to the email address from which you made the request.

8. International use of the Site.
This Site is hosted in the United States. If you are visiting this Site from outside of the United States, please note that by providing your Personal Data it is being transferred to, stored, collected, or processed in the United States, where our data center and servers are located and operated.

9. Data Security. 
The security of Personal Data is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Data submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy. 
Our Site is not intended for children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Data from anyone under 18 years of age.

11. How We Respond to Do Not Track Signals. 
Discount Labels does not track Site users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising. Accordingly, we do not currently respond or take any action with respect to web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of Personal Data about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party web sites or online services.
