For over a century, Underwriters Laboratory (UL) has been issuing globally recognized certifications for product safety. Products that meet their stringent requirements are specially labeled. This safety label is considered a “component” of the certified device (e.g. appliances and electronics) and typically contains information such as warnings, instructions or electrical ratings. As a component on the device, the UL Label must also meet stringent requirements, and so UL also vets its label suppliers through an equally rigorous certification process.

Through an agreement with Underwriter’s Laboratory, our facility has passed the rigors of UL’s high-quality evaluation, testing and compliance standards and is subject to periodic audits. UL Label projects move through our manufacturing process with kid gloves to assure the quality and precision our customers have come to expect.
Beyond quality and compliance: full color, PMS matches and consecutive numbering enhance UL Labels.
As part of our certification, Discount Labels is approved to offer UL Labels with enhanced features such as:

- UL approved stocks such as White Polyester, White UV BOPP, White Vinyl, and Clear Polyester durable stocks that resist tearing
- Consecutive numbering

- High-performance adhesive that is chemical and solvent resistant
